Tonic is a collection of cover songs from some of my favourite artists. I have since started to write my own music and am now working on my second Album of original songs.

Tonic

As a young child, I always loved to sing. At the age of 10 years I discovered the joy of performing to an audience, when I played the role of Eliza Doolittle in a school musical production called 'Olivia', and sang my first solo.

The following year I began to take singing lessons and have developed a love for Modern Classical and Folk music. I am now approaching my Grade 8 Musical Theatre examination. Another highlight has been my time with the Royal & Derngate Young Company where I sang my own re-creation of 'Pinball Wizard' by The Who. I got a real buzz from performing on stage at the Royal Theatre and decided to pursue Music at University, from which I have just completed my Foundation Degree in Music Performance.

Alongside my degree, I recorded my first Album, Tonic, at Brickwork Studios in Market Harborough, Leicestershire.

I chose the name Tonic for my first Album as I have suffered from nocturnal epilepsy since I was 6 years old. This causes me to have regular, full or 'tonic clonic' seizures. I have been through a number of different treatments over the years to try to control my seizures, from medication and the Ketogenic diet, to having a Vagal Nerve Stimulator Implant in 2015. I have always found music to be a source of joy and relaxation.

I will be donating some of the proceeds from the sale of Tonic to the work of the Epilepsy Society.

Thank you for supporting me!
